      Hi my name is Lee, I like to bring an holistic approach to my training sessions with the emphasis on variety and fun but still challenging. I particularly enjoy my small group training sessions feeling the camaraderie we build together motivates us all to exercise on a regular basis. Not that I am sports mad or anything but outside of my gym hours I spend my spare time coaching a variety of sports to a mix of different age groups.

      Hi my name is Alan, my military back ground in the British Army has given me a no nonsense approach to fitness training. I don't understand the word 'Cant'. I like to mix my training techniques bringing in elements of cardio, core fitness, strength, agility and balance often bringing in aspects of my self-defence and unarmed combat to achieve maximum results. I also specialise in specific training regimes designed to get people to pass fitness entry requirements for the armed forces, fire brigade etc.

    The full size Sports Hall is available to book by the quarter, half or whole hall. It is set-up for a range of activities including: 5-a-side football, badminton, netball.

    Markings for all activities such as badminton, basketball, 5-a-side football are included on the surface of the sports hall and all equipment is available to hire at reception.

    Health Assessments & Programme Design

    No matter what your current level of fitness, it is essential you start your exercise programme at the right level and monitor your results. That's why ALL memberships include a comprehensive screening to assess your medical condition, level of fitness, body composition, goals and objectives.

    When you join the gym you will be advised to have a health screening. Each screening takes between 30-40 minutes and covers a whole range of assessments including blood pressure, resting heart rate, aerobic training zones, height, weight, body measurements, body fat percentage and hip and waist ratios. We also perform a range of assessments to monitor flexibility, strength, lung capacity and stamina.

    You are then presented with your own personal fitness programme which will be updated and reviewed on a regular basis allowing you to monitor your progress and adjust your programme accordingly.

    No matter if you are a beginner or an experienced exerciser you can always learn something new. To help you in your quest for maximum results our professionally qualified fitness coaches bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to designing you the perfect personalized fitness plan. Wether you are looking to improve your health, lose weight, tone up or gain muscle you know you are in good hands.

    We run exercise activities for the more mature on Thursday mornings 10.15am-12.15pm which includes 30 mins gentle aerobic exercise, 30 mins light gym work and 30 mins stretch and relaxation followed by social time over tea & coffee.

    Despite the importance of work & exercise, we also believe that relaxation is an important aspect of feeling good. Our Sports Centre incorporates our very own bar and function area that can be used for many different purposes. Whether you want to come and socialise, watch a bit of TV or enjoy a well-deserved drink we can service these needs. The room also displays great views of the sports hall and first team pitch so it's a perfect place for you to come and watch a game.

    Our bar supplies a large range of freshly made snacks and juices along with protein shakes and ofcourse tea/coffee. The bar also suppliers a large range of alcoholic beverages and its multi-function facilities mean it can be used for larger events. Our private function room is available to hire for private bookings. We can cater for approximately 120 people for events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, presentation/fundraising activies. You can book our in-house catering service or if you would prefer just to hire the room and provide your own catering service that is optional.
